- Delivery Information: Address, PIN code, contact details for delivery.
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device location to match you with nearby kirana stores.
- Order Information: Order details, order history, items purchased, and fulfillment status.
- Usage Data: App activity, interactions, and crash logs.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
- Support Information: Information you provide when contacting customer support or filling out forms.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process and deliver your orders
- Communicate with you about orders, offers, and updates
- Provide customer support
- Improve and personalize our Services
- Send push notifications (with your consent)
- Monitor security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only as described below:
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors such as Firebase (analytics, crash reporting), Google Forms (support requests), and cloud hosting providers, solely to provide our Services.
- Delivery Partners: Limited details (name, address, phone number) shared with local kirana and delivery staff to fulfill orders.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kiro, our users, or others.
All third parties are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purpose of providing their services to us.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our Services and comply with legal obligations.
- Account data is kept until you delete your account.
- Order history is retained for customer support, delivery tracking, and legal compliance (up to 7 years if required by local regulations).
- Support data is deleted within 12 months unless needed longer for dispute resolution.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights:
- Access and Update: Review and update your account details at any time in the app.
- Delete Your Data: Request account deletion and permanent removal of your data by contacting us (see Section 9).
- Withdraw Consent: You can disable location services or push notifications in your device settings.
- Opt-Out: You may opt-out of promotional communications at any time via in-app settings or unsubscribe links.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
Kiro is operated in India. If you access our Services from outside India, you agree that your information may be processed and stored in India.
